Falling Into Formation

Our-Lady-of-Mount-Carmel

This past Wednesday, February 27, 2013, I was accepted into Formation in the Third Order of Carmel. I don’t think I can be any more full of the Holy Spirit and recognize Him in all things. Our Lord is to be, truly, my spouse. Since this day, my life has seen some very great blessings. One of which is my husband’s acceptance of the Catholic Faith and agreeing to have our Marriage blessed by the Catholic Church, which now will take place on May 4th of this year. The month of our Holy Mother, and first Saturday. We had been living as brother and sister since 2009 when our roads split. I climbed the mountain of our Lord. Reached the top and fell in love with our Lord. As St. Peter did, I wished to build three tents and stay there for all eternity, forgetting what was left at the base of the Mountain. On my decent, not taking the same road that I climbed up, I grew in hope and understanding that I was not leaving the mountain top for ever, but rather just for a time to finish carrying the cross that I had been assigned. I can not put into words all I have seen yet, as most of this week’s events have been moments of pure bliss and affirmation. I understand what love is and it is everything. There is nothing else.

  1. Comment For angelanowak – I was away from the Catholic Church for MANY years, it was the Holy Spirit Himself who walked me back home to HIS Catholic Church, making me aware I cannot live without Him in the Holy Eucharist. If you choose to use this Catholic Blog as a launching point for Anti Catholic banter, I will IMMEDIATELY block you. I will continue to pray for you and may God open your eyes. – “We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.” 1 John 5:19 – I am IN the world, not OF the world my friend. I am a new creation. What part of “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” do you not understand? ALSO! “And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19 – MY LORD is the Bread of Life and I have seen His face in the Eucharist. Nothing can take me away from Him again. – Your comment has been deleted, as I pulled a Dikembe Mutombo on you. “Not today – Not in my house”.

      • Are you not a rotten sinner angelanowak? I am. “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” also: “If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts” And the rock our Lord was speaking of, was Himself. Also, in Matthew 16:19 our Lord tells St. Peter “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” The bible I read, is the bible handed down through all time from the original writers and Apostles who seen and lived it with our Lord. Look up Apostolic succession. Also the only bible there is all thanks to the Catholic Church. You are banned from my blog. I forgive you. I pray for you. I am done with you and place you in the hands of our Lord. For your absurd assumption that our Lord, Who IS the Lord of Forgivness, somehow did not forgive St. Peter can be found in you’re BIBLE too. Peter denied our Lord three times, and our Lord asked Peter THREE TIMES, “Do you love me”. Look it up. Here is a hint: John 21:15-19

      • For angelanowak regarding all your anti-Catholic posts that have been deleted. As I stated before this is not an open forum but rather my personal blog that I share with all who wish to read it. It’s not here for you to convert me, as I have already accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I have been Convicted by the Holy Spirit and you cannot change that my friend. I am Roman Catholic but more I am a Child of God. You do not have a Monopoly on Him. He loves everyone. As A Roman Catholic, this is what I believe and live:

        I believe in one God,
        the Father almighty,
        maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
        true God from true God,
        begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
        he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
        and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
        in accordance with the Scriptures.
        He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

If you think for a second I need to be convered rom that, your sadly mistaken.
For you to come here and think for a second that I somehow will burn in hell because of my Catholic Faith, or that I need converting, you might want to ask yourself what I need converting from? God? Jesus? The Holy Spirit? I would suggest you ask our Lord about the plank in your own eye first. You might want to ask yourself what YOU’RE authority is to assume you know more than God. I can see very plainly you don’t understand “Love your neighbor” nor do you get that we are all parts of Christ’s Body. The Catholic Church IS Christian BTW and I suggest you read the Church Fathers for the answers you seek. Here The Fathers of the Church http://www.newadvent.org/fathers/
