Test Grade

Ever have one of those days when you wake up in total love & hope in the Lord? When you “feel” like nothing can stop you! Then the rest of your family gets out of bed…..and the test begins.

And you fail…. the “Oral” part of the test. BUT what the true grace is here from our Lord, is that He woke you up early to pray and spend time with Him so that when this test came, you could see it for what is was even if it is after the fact, and know He is still there bringing you through it. He also informs you that He will be waiting for you at St. Joseph Cathedral for Lunch (Mass) and its Tuesday so the Confessional is open AND KNOW THIS – you will be Re-tested over and over again, as many times as it takes until you pass.

    • When our parents are teaching us they are testing us. ITs only because of Love this is done. It may be the most frightening thing in your entire life, but you never forget it and understand it is very important to live in this way so not to be led falsely away from where you belong. Imagine a child who constantly walks away from his parent and gets lost because he doesn’t not want to hold the parents hand. One day the child wandering away and the parent knowing EXACTLY where the child is, hiding so the child cannot see the parent. The child turning around and becomes SO frightened that the parent is gone and he is lost. The parent allows him to become lost to teach him never again to let go of his hand. Thus Abba Father We should return to Him in love because we know He loves us. The problem arises when the child refuses to look back for his parent after letting go of His hand thinking he no longer needs Him. “And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.” 1 John 2:28 “And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3
