The Sexual Revolution

DSC09532_V2_RT-1400x787

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

W. B. Yeats – 1865-1939

If you find yourself still asking, but what does that mean? Look no further than the post

An Explanation for the Bewildered

“Let me be blunt: you’ve been played for idiots. Idios, in the original Greek, means an independent agent, belonging to oneself. That is how I mean it. The designer of the Sexual Revolution believed you’d go so far to sacrifice your own families for sexual autonomy (most of you aren’t even married yet, but you’ve severed yourselves from what your ancestors handed down, a process of cutting begun by your grandfathers).”

The Violence In Society And Abortion

he6k0nvn63vj63e4vb1q62911ul

How many times do we hear, “If only God would intervene __________________  (fill in the blank) wouldn’t have happened..

The problem is not God, but the refusal of God. What most don’t seem to see today, is that He has intervened. He sent His only begotten Son, who suffered, died and rose from the dead for us. The problem is not that God isn’t doing anything, but rather not everyone is listening to Him or following Him.

Can we not see how far this society has fallen into the selfishness and lack of empathy people have today for one another and all creation? Its only a symptom of a much larger problem. Who can I cheat to get ahead for my own selfish ambition is the platform for most of our politicians today. Classrooms are full of students assaulting teachers instead of learning. Elderly are beaten on the streets, and sometimes within their own homes, simply for being elderly. Foster care is full of children abandoned by parents. Churches, Synagogues & Mosques are attacked and people blame the faith instead of the lack of faith these attackers have.. Relationships and family’s have become something some change out no different than they change out their phones for a “better” one. You hear daily the call for more & more abortion on demand, because people refuse to take responsibility for their reckless behavior. And we can’t figure out why people can be so cruel to animals?

Repent and believe in the Gospel.

Today from Denver Catholic – via Archbishop Aquila:

Curtail our culture of violence by addressing abortion

Unplanned

Jessica

My little Jessica

If you are contemplating abortion, and scared to death about the child you are carrying, don’t be. I was 20 when my daughter Jessica was born. I do not regret a thing about bringing her into this world, because every soul on earth suffers in one way or another. She is a gift from God to me, that held this soul of mine together during a very disobedient time in my life. I often say that if it was not for her entering my life when she did, I wouldn’t be writing about this today.  It was 1987, I was scared to tell my mom, but I knew I needed to tell her. I was having complications, so I went in to see the Doctor who actually delivered me. When the news came that I was indeed pregnant, in front of my mom and my sister, the Doctor asked me if I wanted to keep it. Without hesitation, I said yes. I honestly couldn’t believe he had asked me that, and those words damaged me later on in life.

I was exhausted when she came, had no clue what life was truly about but I had to learn fast. I did not have a clue about what it was to be a parent when she came. She was born on the Feast of The Little Flower and Baptized on St. Valentines Day. I did know that this little soul God gave me to care for, for Him, was a much needed anchor to my life. I was 20 years old, dirt poor, single and entered into a failed marriage simply because I was pregnant. Life was hard, really hard. But it became much harder when I said no to the life of another child entering into our life.  Please see my post: The Pain Of Abortion

There is a lot more to this story with my daughter, but, the fact remains that life is amazingly better because of her being here. There is no one else on earth, who can say they truly grew up with me, but her. I love this woman.

Here we are today, 32 years later and that child became a very independent strong beautiful woman with a B.S. in Natural Resources, full of life and a life worth living Please let your child live. Life is not just about you. Life is about all of us.

No one is immune from suffering, neither was our Lord. Please do not listen to the talking heads telling you to murder your child through abortion. Let your child live, your life is not about you.

There is a fantastic movie out in theaters that each and every soul needs to see.

I highly suggest it.

Formal Excommunication IMHO

hqdefault

I see the formal excommunication of those who blatantly use the Catholic Faith as a political means to push the culture of death as an act of MERCY. Not only does it formally say, you are out of communion, but it is also a warning to those who follow the excommunicated rather than our Lord, BEFORE its to late to turn back to Him. It formally lets a soul know they are not in communion, they are not living the faith, and their actions DO NOT represent the Catholic Faith to the public also giving  them time to repent.

Our Lord has already drawn the line. The  famine of faith in our society, has blinded many not to see our own sinfulness through His eyes. Making us complacent in our actions. We excommunicate ourselves by the mortal sins we refuse to repent of. This, IMHO, is the time for our Bishops to stand and say ENOUGH, for the purpose of the salvation of souls, because we love.

I pray for the conversion of hearts. You never realize what you lost until its gone.

Have courage! Overcome the world.

Saint Thomas Becket, pray for us

End Abortion

download (1)

Our Lady of Fatima in 1917 called for the conversion of Russia, or else Russia would spread Her errors.  In 1920, Russian Soviet Republic became the first country in the world to allow abortion in all circumstances.

REPENT REPENT REPENT

End abortion. End the Holocaust.

PARDON PRAYER

My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee. Amen.

Delivered by the Angel of Peace during the First Apparition of the Angel to the three shepherd children of Fatima in spring of 1916.
