The Night Before Christmas

thi6y7jy11

As I read this post by Fr. Stephen this morning, I found it to be very moving and a  beautiful reminder as to how our Lord truly is the Head of the Church, His bride. The Night Before Christmas comes to mind and heart within me. With Fr. Stephens approval, here are a few of his thoughts…

FEEL FREE TO SHARE MY THOUGHTS!

For the benefit of those who haven’t followed me, here is JUST THREE of my posts or comments about the connection between VCII and AL and the movement of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit: we know over the centuries the Holy Spirit has always brought His Church through dark times to the truth. E.G. Centuries of heresies, some saturating, about the divinity and humanity of Christ. But the Holy Spirit will always expose error and lead us to the truth. So let me start with a simple example. I love Pope Benedict. But when Benedict was Pope, few among the average worldwide Catholics knew that several of Benedict’s fellow German bishops had heretical beliefs. He surely didn’t expose them. He retires and Francis calls this Synod which exposed Kasper et al and their false beliefs. Remember Kasper et al wanted their teaching extended to homosexual relationships. Francis wouldn’t touch that but we see the same false teaching of Kasper et al applied to these relationships and this problem is now getting a lot of attention. So the Synod and AL is exposing a lot of false teaching and teachers. Now I do not know whether this was Francis’ intent, but it is the intent and work of the Holy Spirit to expose false teaching and purge His Church of it. The problems we see now go deeper than the issue of marriage and sins against it. This is about the heresies around mortal sin and conscience… The Fundamental Option and relativistic heresies of consequentialism and proportionalism which go back prior to VCII. Prior to the council though they were hidden within the Church as were the false teachers. Many criticize the council for what it caused, but what it caused was this boil which had been growing under the skin for years to rise above the surface to be lanced. We saw the puss and the smell post VCII. Much was confronted by JPII (his encyclicals) but during his and Benedicts’ reigns many of the heretics went on the lay low, but this issue of what is mortal sin, the conscience, its relationship to confession and marriage has never gone away. It was the root issue around the backlash against HV and it is the root issue now. So I feel that this heresy of the fundamental option is being exposed again by the Holy Spirit so everyone can see who believes it and who adheres to true Catholic teaching so it can finally be put to rest. Bottom line, you know and I know, that one unrepented mortal sin can cost us our salvation. Kasper, McElroy, Cupich and many others don’t seem to believe that. They seem to believe in the fundamental option. This has been going on for 50 plus years. I believe this will be the final exposition of this heresy and the final rejection of it. This may not be Francis’ intent but it is the intent of the Holy Spirit. This fight has been needed for decades and I have been itching for it since I have been a priest because 50 years ago the FO caused me to walk away from my Faith. Today, We are slowly but surely seeing where everyone stands. That is always the second step of the Holy Spirit. Expose the false teachers. Many have taught against these heresies (1st move of the Holy Spirit), but few have exposed the heretics (2nd move) . They are being exposed now. The third step of the Holy Spirit will be the cleansing.

Here is what happened after VCII and seems like it is happening here.
1st we need to understand that there are bishops and priests who are going to disobey Church teaching regardless of how clear it is. When this happens after Councils ( VCII) or in this case, a document, AL, those who desire obedience will often point to the Council or document as faulty. Fact is, the fault is in the heart of the disobedient. The fact that the disobedient are now being exposed is the work of the Holy Spirit. And the disobedient is neither the Pope or the Cardinals of the Dubia. The disobedient are shepherds like Kasper, McElroy and others who are using this as an opportunity to justify their disobedience…allowing anyone in good conscience to receive communion in spite of sexual intimacy.
Have you read the 16 documents of VCII? Where is there ambiguity? Give me one example. I will give you an example to make my point about disobedience in spite of truth. Read the document on the liturgy, Sacrosanctum Concilium! You will see what the Council intended and what the libs did were two disparate things. The craziness that came out after VCII existed in the Church prior to VCII. VCII was a movement of the Holy Spirit to lance a boil that had grown so the puss could be released and cleaned up. It takes 50 to 100 years for the fruits of a council to be seen in its fullest. The heresies that existed prior to VCII that came to the light after still exist. Now we know who are pushing these heresies. Let me give you another example of the movement of the Holy Spirit more recently (and I am really tired of stating this for the outsiders to my page). Few average Catholics under Benedict (and I love Benedict) knew that many of his fellow German bishops were pushing heresy. Benedict didn’t expose them. But the Synod exposed them. Remember Kasper and the boys wanted to give gays the right to have sex and still receive communion (see elsewhere on my page). Now we know who the good guys are and who is bogus. The boil grew back because the heretics went underground during JPII’s papacy. (Remember Kasper is a product of JPII). The boil is being lanced again. I believe this could be the final battle to deal with the “fundamental option” heresy that has lingered going back pre VCII. This heresy is at the core of everything we are seeing now and was at the core of the backlash after HV and VCII.

Here is a 4th comment…

As I have said often, the Holy Spirit is moving in His Church. Now Francis may not be intentional in this movement but he is the Pope so he has to be a part of it. So I posit!
If the Pope is perfectly clear (as was JPII and Benedict), the disobedient false teachers would go on the lay low and continue doing what they have been doing! Causing division through disobedience. The Holy Father remains vague and everyone has to vocalize their interpretation of AL thus exposing what they believe…truth or heresy. I have been clear about this! Few knew that Kasper et al was a heretic under his fellow German Pope, Benedict. Everyone knows now. JPII taught the truth but elevated Kasper and Cupich to bishops. See my comment above about the 3movements of the Holy Spirit. – Fr. Stephen Imbarrato

Injustice Of Divorced And Remarried Receiving Holy Communion

pope-francis-and-eucharist-660x330

Pondering souls being granted full communion after Divorce and remarriage outside of the Church. SEE: Top Vatican Cardinal: Not Even A Pope Can Change Divine Law on Communion

Personal thoughts and ponderings as I have been here. See: Cohabitation And Holy Communion along with Gift Of Marriage and various other posts in this personal journey back to our Lord.

Knowingly granting full communion to any soul who does not admit error, without the process of Annulment, is unjust and an injustice to the souls in error.

The soul in error therefore is robbed of seeking and finding Divine Provence in the deeper meaning she or he has been called to find our Lord in.

The souls granting full communion to the soul, removing “punishment”, being separated from receiving our Lord in Holy Communion, are committing a grave error by becoming a stumbling block, as our Lord once called St. Peter for trying to stand in His way from what He must do, to the soul called to a deeper union with our Lord. I ponder the millstone placed around the neck of one who keeps one of this little children from Him. Far to often we forget that punishment due to our sinfulness is a grace, (purgative) which allows the soul to see a deeper Love of our Lord, and seek that full union. Separation makes the heart grow fonder. We must understand that this separation, no mater how painful in this life, through our own fault, is a temporary separation, in which we are called to a deepness of our Lord, that at any other time in our lives, would never have been found, without the grace of repentance.

Above is a deeper pondering from and earlier FB post I had made from a calling in my heart:

When punishment is removed IE. in regards to not being able to receive our Lord through our own fault (Mortal Sin) of marriage outside of the Church laws of Marriage, we remove the souls conscious of right and wrong, creating lukewarm souls, instead of souls on fire for our Lord to DO in Love for Him, what is right and just, by wanting to FIX what we have done wrong. We take away personal responsibility to encounter our Lord in the very simple act of turning from our fault, and turning to His mercy.

Please Read: The Church at the Service of the Family  – From St. John Paul II

FAMILIARIS CONSORTIO

Take from the above link:

Gradualness and Conversion

9. To the injustice originating from sin-which has profoundly penetrated the structures of today’s world-and often hindering the family’s full realization of itself and of its fundamental rights, we must all set ourselves in opposition through a conversion of mind and heart, following Christ Crucified by denying our own selfishness: such a conversion cannot fail to have a beneficial and renewing influence even on the structures of society.

What is needed is a continuous, permanent conversion which, while requiring an interior detachment from every evil and an adherence to good in its fullness, is brought about concretely in steps which lead us ever forward. Thus a dynamic process develops, one which advances gradually with the progressive integration of the gifts of God and the demands of His definitive and absolute love in the entire personal and social life of man. Therefore an educational growth process is necessary, in order that individual believers, families and peoples, even civilization itself, by beginning from what they have already received of the mystery of Christ, may patiently be led forward, arriving at a richer understanding and a fuller integration of this mystery in their lives.

Thank You St. John Paul II

Thank you St. Pope John Paul II, for prayers answered…

As I was waking this morning, I couldn’t shake the thought of him, St. Faustina and the abyss of love that has replaced the abyss of misery that was my life.

Thank you Lord for him, for You and for your Divine Mercy.

The Temptation Of The Sexual Revolution

temptation_650_375

Pondering: Vatican II (inside the church) not being the reason souls left the pews, but the temptation of the ‘sexual revolution” (on the outside), being the “apple” many “fell for” that lead souls astray and out of the pews. Therefore our Lord was already prepared to address the needs of a society of souls far off, and the Father meeting them on the road to welcome them back home.

If souls were “obedient” and in love with our Lord, there wouldn’t have been a mass exodus. It’s as if a fear of something other than of our Lord gripped the souls in the pews rather than “trust” and “obedience” to our Lord, which holds all souls in love.. Just as a temptation that “original sin” is a thing of the past grips souls today and holds them in that same lack of “obedience” to God.

BUT “patience obtains all things” and “all things work for the greater glory of God”.

Just pondering….

Ecology of Pope Francis.

LISTEN UP! What Pope Francis is saying, is when you place love of God, Abba Father, above ALL ELSE, there would be no need to talk about a clean environment, saving abused animals, ending abortion etc. because it would BE CLEANER, they would be “saved” because placing your love for Him above all else, trickles down and shows in your love for all His creation and creatures. “Right Praise” and “Right Worship” becomes doing what is right and just. Faith and works. Its the love relationship.”“If you love me, you will keep my commandments” <–click there

End of rant. It all starts with YOU! “Who do YOU say that I am?” LIVE IT!

Independence Day From Sinfulness

11695340_10207457036292125_947304448569329523_n

Saturday July 4th, I will be dedicating to our Holy Mother Mary and first Saturday. I ask you to join me as we celebrate her, our Catholic Faith and TRUE Independence from our sinfulness. I have my flag out already. I will be bringing my children to Holy Mass after we all receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Just an idea I feel needs to be shared.

“In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph.” – Our Lady of Fatima

FREEDOM!

All praise, honor and glory to our Lord, Jesus Christ.

EDIT to add:

Its not a call to abandon hope, nor to hide inside this day, but to celebrate LIFE in Christ. To still enjoy our Lords creation. TO STILL live the life our Lord has given to us and to appreciate Holiness in the Light. Its not that we are NOT still sinners, but rather we know we are and we are TRYING with the grace of God to get back home to our Lord, in TRUE Love. Agape!

“Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!
Amen!”

EDIT:

The original photo has been changed at the top of this post. WITHOUT KNOWING, I was flying my Vatican Flag upside down for many many WEEKS. I didn’t know it. Today, I fixed it. Keep in mind ANY flag flown upside down is a sign of “distress” and NOT disrespect. Pray for this nation and the ENTIRE Church.

I Will Not Worship The Golden Calf

sv-semeistvo

REPENT…

All over the MSM you see “Love Wins” in regards to the same sex marriage law being man made legal in 50 US states. Yes. Love most certainly does win but most do not know who He is yet. I pray that many will receive the grace from our Lord for understanding of who He is.

Again SCOTUS chants “We have no king but Caesar”. Just as it was chanted through the pen for Abortion and now for Marriage. Jesus Christ is MY King, not the USA. It was Saint Augustine of Hippo who stated that “An unjust law is no law at all”. Just as an unjust law is no law at all, so to are the men and woman who enforce the unjust law. So to are those who follow the unjust law. I will not. I OPENLY refuse to worship the “Golden Calf” of the nation. Jesus Christ is my King. “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

From the USCCB

“Regardless of what a narrow majority of the Supreme Court may declare at this moment in history, the nature of the human person and marriage remains unchanged and unchangeable. Just as Roe v. Wade did not settle the question of abortion over forty years ago, Obergefell v. Hodges does not settle the question of marriage today. Neither decision is rooted in the truth, and as a result, both will eventually fail. Today the Court is wrong again. It is profoundly immoral and unjust for the government to declare that two people of the same sex can constitute a marriage.”

Please continue to read at the link.

Repent. Pray Divine Office 3X daily. Pray the Rosary daily. Pray before every meal. Attend daily Holy Mass (if you can) and if you can not, participate in it through EWTN rebroadcast. Pray without ceasing. Receive the sacraments frequently. “LOVE one another as I have loved you” – Be not afraid. DO not give into disrepair. Give in only to our Lord Jesus Christ. Teach your children to do the same! LIVE the faith. Don’t just talk about it.

The Sacrament of Marriage will never change.

“Laudato Si” & “Vision Of Heaven”

download (27)

Can’t help but ponder…

Pondering “Laudato Si” and Pope Francis on Twitter in the past few hours:

“I invite all to pause to think about the challenges we face regarding care for our common home. ‪#‎LaudatoSi‬. We need a new dialogue about how we are shaping the future of our planet. #LaudatoSi. There is an intimate relationship between the poor and the fragility of the planet. #LaudatoSi. There is a need to seek other ways of understanding the economy and progress. #LaudatoSi. There is a value proper to each creature. The throwaway culture of today calls for a new lifestyle. #LaudatoSi. “To commit a crime against the natural world is a sin against ourselves and a sin against God.” (Patriarch Bartholomew). The climate is a common good, belonging to all and meant for all. Climate change represents one of the principal challenges facing humanity in our day. #LaudatoSi. The earth, our home, is beginning to look more and more like an immense pile of filth. These problems are closely linked to a throwaway culture. One particularly serious problem is the quality of water available to the poor. #LaudatoSi. The human environment and the natural environment deteriorate together. The deterioration of the environment and of society affect the most vulnerable people on the planet. We have to hear both the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor. #LaudatoSi. To blame population growth, and not an extreme consumerism on the part of some, is one way of refusing to face the issues. A true “ecological debt” exists, particularly between the global north and south. Developed countries ought to help pay this debt by limiting their consumption of nonrenewable energy. There is no room for the globalization of indifference. #LaudatoSi. Economic interests easily end up trumping the common good. The alliance between economy and technology ends up sidelining anything unrelated to its immediate interests. Whatever is fragile, like the environment, is defenceless before the interests of a deified market. We need only to take a frank look at the facts to see that our common home is falling into serious disrepair. #LaudatoSi. The present world system is certainly unsustainable from a number of points of view. #LaudatoSi. Each community has the duty to protect the earth and to ensure its fruitfulness for coming generations. “Creation” has a broader meaning than “nature”; it has to do with God’s loving plan. #LaudatoSi. Every creature is the object of the Father’s tenderness, who gives it its place in the world. A fragile world challenges us to devise intelligent ways of directing, developing and limiting our power. At times more zeal is shown in protecting other species than in defending the equal dignity of human beings. We should be particularly indignant at the enormous inequalities in our midst. #LaudatoSi. We continue to tolerate some considering themselves more worthy than others. Earth is essentially a shared inheritance, whose fruits are meant to benefit everyone. #LaudatoSi. For believers, this becomes a question of fidelity to the Creator. Never has humanity had such power over itself, yet nothing ensures that it will be used wisely. Each age tends to have only a meagre awareness of its own limitations. It is possible that we don’t grasp the gravity of the challenges before us. #LaudatoSi. We are learning all too slowly the lessons of environmental deterioration. #LaudatoSi. By itself the market cannot guarantee integral human development and social inclusion. Scientific and technological progress cannot be equated with the progress of humanity and history. There is an urgent need for us to move forward in a bold cultural revolution. #LaudatoSi. Christian thought sees human beings as possessing a particular dignity above other creatures. The culture of relativism drives one person to take advantage of another, to treat others as mere objects. It is contrary to human dignity to cause animals to suffer or die needlessly. #LaudatoSi. We need an integrated approach to combating poverty and protecting nature. For indigenous communities, land is not a commodity, but a gift from God, a sacred space. Having a home has much to do with a sense of personal dignity and the growth of families. #LaudatoSi. The world we have received also belongs to who will follow us. #LaudatoSi. What kind of world do we want to leave to those who come after us, to children who are now growing up? What is at stake is our own dignity. Leaving an inhabitable planet to future generations is, first and foremost, up to us.”

Peg Pondering Again

Most who will read this will either not understand or call me crazy. I forgive you. Some with a greater gift then I, I hope will read more into it then I can. This vision is so etched on my soul in great detail, it is the only thing on my mind. It has consumed me. After seeing this vision last night, and still being in this world, it has managed to separate two worlds completely. The world in which we live and the world in which we hope to live. I can only see this world we are in as dying and know I am still apart of it but the Kingdom of Heaven is my home and where I belong. There is zero doubt, this vision was a gift of our Holy Mother as it came to me while praying the Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary last…

Age Appropriate

Glenbeigh_St._James'_Church_Nave_Triple_Window_Omnis_Honor_et_Gloria_2012_09_09

“And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

On this beautiful feast of Corpus Christi, we were blessed with my youngest daughter making her First Holy Communion yesterday at Holy Mass. It was bitter sweet for me, as I quickly learned that I would never be preparing any more of my children for this beautiful Sacrament. I thought of years past, when Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles, Cousins and EVERYONE would pile into the Church to witness this beautiful Sacrament. There was always a huge family gathering that followed with great food and cards & a big cake. There were only five of us in our family to celebrate this beautiful day for her. My husband, her older sister and my sister & brother-in-law.her Aunt & Uncle, my sister & brother in law, along with myself.

Taking into account most of my family is out of state and my parents have been gone for close to 15 years, I found myself at odds with how things were and how they are today. I was wrestling with the Parable of the Wedding Feast. So many invited, but everyone has something better to do. My husbands family consists of a sister, her baby and husband and his mother here in California, about 50 miles north, who very recently suffered a death of a teen nephew and could not attend. The rest of his family is in London and other parts of the world. We did what we could to make it a special day.

I couldn’t help but ponder the utmost importance of the family’s role in the celebration and how big a part they are in making the child receiving the Sacrament understand its a BIG deal. When many come to celebrate something you have done, seeds are planted not for you, but for future generations to come. For them to make the Sacrament a BIG deal for their children and not lose the reverence for it and our Lord, by family that just can’t be bothered to participate. Therefore my child will understand that if she is given the gift of children later on, she to will do everything to make the Sacrament a Big Deal. Because it is.

In my struggles with not having many attend, I was presented with a thought that its not just about one day. Its about every day. Its a continuing “Celebration” in all time and eternity and as long as our Lord was present, so were all the Holy Angles & Saints. So were all those family members who could not be there for the party here with us, who are now with our Lord.

I find myself today, embracing the “tiny bunch of grapes” left in my home that are present to celebrate not only my daughters First Holy Communion, but for all Holy Communions in the Celebration of the Holy Mass that is ongoing for all time and eternity.

As we continued today, my husband surprised me and the girls with a trip to Greek Fest here in San Diego. We ate great food and seen children dancing and my children played games in the children area. As we sat with them, my youngest pointed to a sign and an area for very small children and said to me: “Mommy? Why can’t I be under 3 so I can play in that place?”. The Holy Spirit inflamed my heart with an answer. I said to her, you are under 3. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we have to move on to different areas because we grow. That doesn’t mean your not under 3.(Father, Son & Holy Spirit) You will always be under 3. As long as you stay under 3. As we grow bigger, and we look back, we forget to look back forward to the things we can do and need to do rather then the things we can’t do anymore. God wants to show you new things as you are growing. She completely understood it! She didn’t throw a fit, she moved on. And so did I.

May the Celebration continue!

Glory to God.

EDIT TO ADD: From June 4th, 2015. Pope Francis on Twitter: “We need to build up society in the light of the Beatitudes, walking towards the Kingdom with the least among us.”

The Death of Secularism

images (40)

Its not the Catholic Church that has failed in Ireland with the passing of same sex Marriage. She never can. It is secularism that blinked exposing itself for the terminal cancer it has always been and many souls are suffering because of it. When our Lord was crucified and put to death, the secular world thought that was the end of Him also. False peace, is what same sex Marriage, abortion, and all that contradicts what is Right and Just in our Lord, is.

The secular world has always contradicted our Lord. It does not mean in any way they win or they can change anything. It means our Lord is Right and Just. Stick with Him. Not them. Do not cling to anything but Him. The gates of hell shall not prevail. Pray for those who persecute you. May they who have been swayed by secularism away from the Truth, be converted back to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Your country can not save you. Your family can not save you. Your friends can not save you. Only Christ can save you. Place your Faith, Hope and Love back in Jesus Christ and nothing else. Repent. Not only Ireland, but everyone. Return to your first Love. God never changes. “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

There is a good reason for the upcoming Year of Mercy and our Lord Jesus Christ knows what He is doing.

Repent. Our Lord converted my heart when I was far off from Him, when my ideas of life were actually death to my soul. I pray today for the conversion of all who are still far away from Him through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, our Mother, Spouse of the most Holy Spirit, intercede for us and bring us into the fullness of the Sacred Heart of your Son, our Lord. Amen

Cardinal Wojtyla (Pope John Paul II) in an address during the Eucharistic Congress in 1976 for the Bicentennial celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence … said:
“We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has ever experienced. I do not think that the wide circle of the American Society, or the whole wide circle of the Christian Community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the antichrist. The confrontation lies within the plans of Divine Providence. It is, therefore, in God’s Plan, and it must be a trial which the Church must take up, and face courageously

Penitent

keep-calm-and-slay-dragons-1

In the heart of every sinner, there truly is a dragon slayer by the name of Jesus Christ. A dragon is not a myth but a reality in sin. The war being waged within the soul against the powers of this world becomes manifest when the sinner repents, or turns away from self, therefore becoming the penitent and uniting with the Dragon Slayer and not the dragon.

At that moment the soul can identify, submit and surrender completely to the voice and actions of our Lord Jesus Christ. In order to slay this dragon of sinfulness, every gift of the Holy Spirit of our Lord must be used for the purpose it was given, and not for self. Every repentant sinner is called to the Army of Christ, not to slay one another, but rather to slay the dragon of sin that seeks to destroy all souls.

The Penitent becomes what our Lord created, a dragon slayer, and not dragon fodder.

Love Or Pride

sheep

My family and I walked into Holy Mass today and two little girls from my daughters class walked up to my daughter and asked her if she found a box of tissues. We were set back a bit and my daughter said no. We went to sit in the pew and like every week, my daughters argued over who was going to sit where and my Violet grudgingly slid deeper down the pew instead of grabbing the end of the pew. She began crying and became angry that her sister took HER SEAT. She sits there. It belonged to her and her alone!

As the tears ran down her cheeks from the raging anger that was eating her up about her sister, I reminded her about the two girls that asked her if she found a box of tissues and tried to calm her down and have her think about where we were, and prompted her to think of how it was our Lord was speaking to her. The two girls asking if she found the box of tissues, her getting upset about nothing and crying her eyes out, not having a tissue to wipe them away. Nothing was registering. She couldn’t comprehend what I was telling her. She didn’t want to listen. Her sister took HER seat! She began to tell me about how her sister sat in HER seat LAST WEEK TOO! To which I reminded her that we sat in the middle of the pew last week and everyone was someplace else.

The tears finally ended, focus was regained and Holy Mass began. As I received our Lord today in Holy Communion, He made me cry. It was my turn. I had been contemplating all the things He had been showing me, all the worry I had for others and myself and the state of the world as it is. How He had lead me back to Him and all the beautiful and frighting experiences I have seen and lived through with Him leading the way. I was crying like a baby as He reminded me, “My sheep hear my voice”. Everything that has caused me to worry about others and why no one was listening to me all became the focal point as to why. Why is because if I can here Him, they will too. In His time. When He calls His sheep, they will hear Him. Not me, but Him. A question was then asked of my heart. Is it for pride that I do this, or for Love? I didn’t have to answer as the answer radiated in my heart. That little box of lost tissues made seance again.

Mass had ended and we went for coffee and donuts in the back of the hall. One of the church groups was selling plants. “I am the vine. You are the branches”. My daughters bought two little plants. Our Lord made it perfectly known to me, He already gave me two more little “sprouts” on this “branch” to take care of on His Vine.

As we sat eating and relaxing, I had noticed that a chain on a gate that had been there for a very long time, was no longer there. Although the gate was closed, all I had to do was lean on it as it was no longer locked. I knew it was significant at the time, but it just wasn’t registering. I am only now reminded of last week and The Good Shepherd. “So Jesus said again, “Amen, amen, I say to you, I am the gate for the sheep.”

All glory, praise and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ. Today and forever. Amen

Kudos to Fr. Z. and The Blaze:

“A wave of devastating violence swept through Egypt Wednesday as the government attempted to disband the supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi from their sit-ins. According to the Associated Press, 638 people have now been confirmed killed, and nearly 4,000 are injured.”

My Walk With Him

walking-with-jesus1

Sunday morning, Easter Morning, I awoke and decided to take a walk. As I was preparing for the walk, it became my walk with Christ. It was on this walk, I knew I could never come back. I packed my rosary & prayer, tossed on my shoes and started walking to Church to see our Lord in Adoration.

As I started to pray I noticed the life around me. I came to a tree in bloom and stopped to look. Some blooms were open and full flowers and some buds had not opened yet. I came to a pine tree and seen some cones fully open that had sent forth their seeds and some completely closed, holding on to them. I was reminded of our faith in Christ. Some hearts open before others. Some are in full bloom, some just ready to burst forth and some have not opened yet. All just as beautiful as the next.

As I walked and prayed, I came to a house that had been completely renovated but no one was living in it yet. It looked as if it had been updated from top to bottom and all it was waiting for was to become a home. I thought of “I will destroy this temple made with human hands and in three days will build another, not made with hands.'”. And I continued to walk..

As I came to a bend in the road that lead to my church, I noticed someone walking behind me. I continued to pray the rosary and ponder. A teenage boy came up behind me, and began to speak to me. He was mentally retarded, and asked me what I was ding on this beautiful day. I told him I was praying the rosary and walking to Church. He began to walk with me and told me he was going to a car lot up the street and I assumed he liked cars, then he said he was heading to the pet shop up the street that had lots of animals. We began to talk about faith and as we walked, I taught him how to pray the rosary. He was not Catholic, but his love for Christ was very noticeable.

We talked about our Lord all the way to my Church. I told him I was going to see our Lord who is present in the Holy Eucharist. He did not know what Catholics believed. We walked and had an enjoyable morning and it came time for me to leave. When we got to my church I told him this is where I had to cross. I asked him his name and he said it was Kenny. I told him I would keep him in my prayers and he walked off with my rosary and the little prayer card, instructing him how to pray.

He was continuing on and I crossed the street to my home parish. As I got into the parking lot, the 10 AM Easter Mass was letting out. One of the office workers seen me and grabbed me telling me they needed some help directing traffic because it was getting backed up. So I put on the orange vest, grabbed the whistle he gave me and was on my way directing traffic on the street where cars were trying to cut into the exit. I started directing traffic,m allowing cars to exit on to the street, not allowing cars into the same area, as they had to go back and turn at the “light” to enter. As I stood there I realized I was in the middle of the street and looked at the stop light. I could hear our Lord speaking to me in my heart, “Work with the Light”. I giggled because I knew not only was He speaking about the traffic light, but also in regards to Him. After about 30 minutes or so, the traffic died down and I was free to spend some time with our Lord in adoration.

I walked to the tabernacle, kissed it and thanked our Lord, knowing Mass was about to begin again, left quickly, grabbing a Divine Mercy Chaplet pamphlet for the walk and continued my walk with Him, taking that different route home. As I am still walking with Him today, without any plans using that old route, with the exception of making sure Mama Mary was still with me.

The Pope

papal-altar

A post for my Protestant friends as to why the “Pope” is so important. Catholics too! Who do not understand why the Pope is the “Voice” and not the vice.

Thou Art Peter

The BEST explanation I have ever heard, outside of the Holy Bible was given by Father Robert Barron in the video below. I ask my readers to watch this and understand how important the Pope is in this world.

Lukewarm

“The greatest romance one can find, is to fall in love with God. The greatest journey one could embark on, is to seek Him. The greatest achievement one can obtain, is to find Him.”~ St. Augustine

When we set off on a journey, even one as simple as a walk around the block, we don’t take the first step saying, when I get back home, I’m going to do something else. If we do, our heart isn’t in the journey to begin with. When we take that first step out of the house, we should be focusing on how beautiful the fresh air is that kisses our face. It is a kiss from God. It is Him brushing away the staleness we had been cooped up in. We should be grateful for the ability to take the walk in the first place. This goes for attending Holy Mass. When we are truly IN Communion with Him, our eyes are opened large enough to hold all His treasures pouring into our hearts in the form of grace and joy for all eternity.

We should never “feel” as if it is an OBLIGATION to attend Mass but rather a blessing to attend Holy Mass. If we look at Holy Mass as an obligation, it becomes a chore and done because we “feel” we have to go. When we attend Mass in love, our love for God, it’s no longer an obligation, but rather done IN love. We seek Him everywhere we can find Him. Or we freely go to where we know He is present. Without even so much as a single thought of what we are doing after we spend time with Him. The entire world we know outside of Mass, disappears and He appears in us, to love Him and life in Him. To love our neighbor as He loved us. To attend to the needs of those He placed in our lives and overlook self-interest.

The most amazing journey the soul can be on isn’t a perpetual journey, but rather reaching the end. No matter how long the journey is, we know in our hearts, it’s not forever. Only God is forever. If we chose not to bring Him with us on this journey of life, we have to ask, what is it I am seeking at Mass if it is not Him?

I hear all the time, we need a miracle! We need to see a miracle! No matter how many “Miracles” appear in your life, the only one that will ever matter, takes place on the Holy Altar at every Catholic Mass celebrated throughout the world. When our Lord is present, in a form most can not understand. When our Lord becomes the Holy Meal between friends. For a soul looking for miracles, you will never see them. You can’t. For the soul seeking God, He is visible once we understand where He resides. In the Truth. If I were to tell you that “Someone” came to me and told me about every sin I had committed, about how my entire life was going to be, about every event takeing place right now, would you believe in God anymore then you did before you read this? Would you seek Him in everything you do? Would you set out to believe in Him more today? Because “Someone” did come to me. “Someone” who knew every sin I had committed. “Someone” who knew my past, present and future. “Someone” who knew me more than I knew myself. I didn’t believe in the beginning either. When this occurred, it was just a random conversation. I was lukewarm if not frozen in a life of sin. At this time I too was looking for a miracle. I did not see one because my heart was not open to Him. Everything, now after the fact and everything I see, is a miracle. I might not know who it was, I did ask him is he was God and he said no, but the glory and honor belongs to God. Only God can change a heart to love and serve Him. For me, the journey to find out who that was, is over and has been over for some time. It no longer matters. God does. He does not create chaos in our lives, but He does allow it to happen and when we seek Him and only Him, He calms the storm simply as we stretch our hands to Him.

Lukewarm might be a good place to be in a bathtub, but in the faith, when we become “comfortable” in what we are doing, we lose the understanding of how UNCOMFORTABLE the world is with faith in Christ. The world contradicts what our Lord has done and is doing now, along with what He has promised for eternity. The lukewarm find comfort among the thorns in the Crown of our Lord, rather than in the heart of the Love in His heart. The lukewarm find comfort in the thrust of the spear into His side on the Cross rather than in the water and blood that came from His suffering to comfort, wash us and cleanse us of the world which seeks to do the same to us. The lukewarm find comfort among those who persecute Him rather than those who suffer within Him, together with Him in truth. It is very visible to see this in the way we treat our neighbors. Do we love them as our Lord loves us or do we just sit back and let them fall when they fall because it’s just “the way it is”. It is easy to see this in the way the lukewarm in all they do.

If the heart is not inflamed with love for Him, and only Him, we overlook the first commandment completely. “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them. It is written: “You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.”

The more love that is given to Him, the more love that is poured out onto you from Him, stoking the flames in your heart to do EVERYTHING for Him, because of Him. You no longer go looking, you just accept what He is giving you and in return, you give everything you have back to Him not because it is right and just, but because you love Him, which is right and just.

I. “YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND HIM ONLY SHALL YOU SERVE”

2084 God makes himself known by recalling his all-powerful loving, and liberating action in the history of the one he addresses: “I brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” The first word contains the first commandment of the Law: “You shall fear the LORD your God; you shall serve him. . . . You shall not go after other gods.”5 God’s first call and just demand is that man accept him and worship him.

2085 The one and true God first reveals his glory to Israel.6 The revelation of the vocation and truth of man is linked to the revelation of God. Man’s vocation is to make God manifest by acting in conformity with his creation “in the image and likeness of God”:

There will never be another God, Trypho, and there has been no other since the world began . . . than he who made and ordered the universe. We do not think that our God is different from yours. He is the same who brought your fathers out of Egypt “by his powerful hand and his outstretched arm.” We do not place our hope in some other god, for there is none, but in the same God as you do: the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.7
2086 “The first commandment embraces faith, hope, and charity. When we say ‘God’ we confess a constant, unchangeable being, always the same, faithful and just, without any evil. It follows that we must necessarily accept his words and have complete faith in him and acknowledge his authority. He is almighty, merciful, and infinitely beneficent. Who could not place all hope in him? Who could not love him when contemplating the treasures of goodness and love he has poured out on us? Hence the formula God employs in the Scripture at the beginning and end of his commandments: ‘I am the LORD.'”8 Catechism of the Catholic Church

maria_y_jesus2

Through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I ask You O Lord, to inflame the hearts of the lukewarm and increase their faith and love for You that they may serve You Lord in all they do, and give all the glory and honor to God the Father. I beg, have mercy on us all Lord. Amen

Today’s Genocide

Exhibit of shoes from the victims of Auschwitz

I spent most of this morning pondering the Holocaust of WWII. The genocide of approximately six million European Jews during World War II. I looked at many photos of the men, women and children who were exterminated because no one at the time believe they held any worth to the human race. Those who carried out the crimes and those who did nothing to stop it. I pondered the closeness of each concentration camp in proximity to villages and wondered how towns and nearby villages could allow such things to continue as if it was nothing.

Children, all murdered by Nazis

These are the faces we have seen. What about all the unseen faces, souls who were not photographed, that entered these camps never to be seen again?

My mind immediately wandered to today. I beg my readers to understand I am in no way trying to diminish the severity of what happened to all these souls. Not at all, I want to point out that this atrocity is continuing now, everywhere in the world where abortion is legal. The United States, China, and every nation on earth is commiting the same genocide today under a sanitized name called abortion. There is no difference. We are souls, created in the image of God, not insignificant body’s of flesh.

What caused the Genocide of all these souls in Europe, all six million, is the same cause of the murder of approximately 42 million infants every year throughout the world. No compassion. No love. Pure selfish ambition. Rather pinning this on the insanity of one man, we can pin the genocide of every infant today on the madness of entire society’s that push for abortion to continue. Along with those who do nothing to stop it. We have ourselves to blame for allowing this to continue.

That first picture of the shoes, touched the very heart of my being. I wish someone would collect baby booties of every human taken by abortion in the world and place them on display, for the world to see. The shoes that will never be filled, the smiles that will never be seen, the giggles that will never be heard, because society decided to do nothing to stop this. The world and the sickness of this pro culture of death society decided rather to make excuses to justify the killing of all these children, the most innocent souls among us.

“Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

May God have mercy on us all.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for the gift of life. Grant that all mothers who give birth will welcome their babies with love, but if the mothers feel they are unable to raise their babies, grant that they may be compassionate toward the life You have given and not destroy it before birth. To those children who have been wantonly deprived of earthly life grant whatever happiness to which they are entitled. And to the mothers who have denied them life in this world grant Your merciful grace of repentance and reconciliation with Our Savior, so that they may obtain eternal life. Grant also the grace of conversion to those who perform abortions and anyone associated with abortion.

Mary, Mother of God, intercede for us. Holy Innocents, pray for us. Amen.

The Fall Of Rome

In every conflict we hear of there is a winner and a loser.

How often we hear today “Oh No! Our nation is heading exactly as Rome!” The Fall of Rome all over again!

How we forget, our Lord Jesus Christ was the One who conquered Rome and others….

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. Matthew 16:18
