“Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me–the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.”

Getting there is half the battle, battling against the evil inside is another and keeping the faith is a new battle. Until our Lord takes you home.

This morning I woke up early and heard His voice, calling me. That “Big” voice pushing me to get out of bed and rush to the first Mass this morning rather then my usual 8 AM Mass. And I did. Remembering today is the feast day of St. Mary Magdelene “The Penitent”. How funny I thought, here I was rushing to attend the first Mass, to be the first to see our Lord, resurrected in the Eucharist, this morning on her feast day. As I started my truck, the radio began to play “Baby hold on to me” by Eddie Money. I pondered the words of our Lord in the garden that He said to St. Mary Magdelene: “Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”. John 20:17

On this day, today in my faith, and forever, I will hold on to Him. He is all I need. He has ascended to the Father and the time has come for me, to never let Him go. In such a beautiful way, through the memories the Holy Spirit has helped me to remember so I can confess and repent and believe, and LOVE and serve Him, in so many ways, I know I have crossed the finish line and my order from my Lord is to stay put! Do not move from this spot in the faith. To wait for Him to come and take me home. Meaning, do not change a thing! Continue all that I am doing in going to Mass, confession, praying unceasingly, and standing FIRM in the faith. Centered with Him on the cross. So one day I to can profess “I have fought the good fight. I have completed the race. I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

VICTORY! In Christ.

42 They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.”

43 After the two days he departed for Galilee. 44 (For Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in his own hometown.) 45 So when he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, having seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the feast. For they too had gone to the feast.”
