Refugees And Mercy

grapes-on-the-vine

Our Lord appointed 12 Apostles. His mission didn’t change because of one betrayer. Our mission is His mission. His mission is Love.

In a few weeks, we Catholics will be experiencing the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. If our Lord is giving us this time of Mercy, time to turn back to Him, how then can we not extend that mercy we will been given, to others in need?

I find myself pondering James 2:13 “For the judgment is merciless to one who has not shown mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.”

We are not called to live in fear of anyone or anything but are called to live only in the fear of our Lord.

Terrorism is never to be feared, but rather needs to be reminded, in our hearts, of the terror it can face, in the presence of the Face of God. Our Lords own words to Judas need to come to mind, that being “Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”.

Knowing that the Mission of Love is eternal and ongoing, we can never lose sight to love one another and pray for those who persecute us,  as the mission of hate has no mission, but only self gratification and that self gratification dies and like dust, is blown away by the wind.

Peace and continual praying for the conversion of hearts, as our Lord is converting my heart to love and serve Him in all created in His image.

Persecution: Fearing God Alone

Iraq 111

We need NOT to get sucked into war, but rather stay the humanitarian course SENDING FOOD, WATER, SHELTER & MEDICINE BUT ABOVE ALL, PRAYERS! The evil one would LOVE to suck us in to war just to say to the world, see what they are doing, because its his design to kill. We can’t fall for the evil ones designs. We must understand FORTITUDE in the faith, bombard the entire situation with LOVE and unite our suffering and theirs with our Lords, Fearing God Alone.

“What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops. “Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. “Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.”

Homily On Iraq: MUST HEAR For All Catholics

BqmCPSnCIAErqui.jpg-large

Brothers and sisters:
What will separate us from the love of Christ?
Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine,
or nakedness, or peril, or the sword?
No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly
through him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities,
nor present things, nor future things,
nor powers, nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature will be able to separate us
from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.ROM 8:35, 37-39

I was moved to tears and more at Holy Mass yesterday morning, when I heard after the Homily from a local Chaldean Deacon who was invited by our Priest to give a talk after the Homily, with first hand knowledge, of what has and is taking place in Iraq. This taking place to our Christian brothers & sisters, being tortured, murdered, raped and martyred by ISIS, being paid for by THIS nation we live in by the Obama administration. ISIS hate our Lord. They hate Him. They hate Him in the Eucharist. They hate Him in His Church. They Hate Him in His followers. They hate Him in the Rosary we pray to pull closer to Him. They hate Him in the statue’s that are religious “photos” of those we love and look to for peace and model our lives after. They hate Him and that is why they persecute us. They hate us, because we BELIEVE. We must protect our Lord and all that He is. This is a “Spiritual Battle” against evil that is manifesting itself and making itself known bluntly as evil across the globe. We must defend religious freedom, we must defend our Lord in the Eucharist. We must defend the FAITH He has given to us, even at the cost as He did, “death on a cross”. The cross we carry for future generations to find that peace, the world and worldly are rejecting.

We truly are at war. Spiritual War, against Satan and his demons, who seek to destroy everything that even resembles our Lord in this world, in even the slightest way. Come back home to our Lord. Yes it is already won through our Lord but now is the time to choose a side. Wake up! REPENT.

Homily On Iraq: LISTEN HERE!

dvDpuYF
“A small white lamb follows a white donkey through the rubble of homes in the northern district of Beit Hanun” Israel

I believe in one God,
the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate
of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance of the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead
and His kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
With the Father and the Son
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

The Faith of Elijah

fire from heaven

A recent story came out regarding the words of the Imam who was present in the Vatican garden for the “Prayers for Peace”: What Did the Imam Really Say? Revisited

I’m reminded of the faith of the Prophet Elijah. Being Catholic we KNOW there is only One God. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Remember those who worshiped the false idols:

25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.” 26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it.

Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.

27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.

Hummm

Elijah’s Prayer
…37″Answer me, O LORD, answer me, that this people may know that You, O LORD, are God, and that You have turned their heart back again.” 38 Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 When all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The LORD, He is God; the LORD, He is God.”…

Place your trust in our Lord.

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”

Prayer For The Conversion Of The World

5161422017_c86cfcc47c_z2

Lord Jesus Christ, most merciful Saviour of the world, we humbly beseech You, by Your most Sacred Heart, that all the sheep who stray out of Your fold may in one days be converted to You, the Shepherd and Bishop of their souls, who lives and reigns with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, world without end.
Amen.

Murder Is Murder

download (46)

Is there any difference between the murder of Christians by Radical Islam in the ME, and the Murder of the Unborn through the act of Abortion everywhere else in the world?

I ask this question, not looking for an answer, but for many to ponder it. With the Prayers for Peace in the ME and the “rage” some have shown about praying for peace with Muslims, Jews and Orthodox with Pope Francis, I know this question is extremely important for everyone to ponder.

If I pass a law, stating, I can kill you because you are Christian. What makes it any different from, I can kill you because you are not born yet…. It stems from the same sin. That being murder.

2258 “Human life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains for ever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end. God alone is the Lord of life from its beginning until its end: no one can under any circumstance claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being.”56

I understand that the most innocent are the closet to our Lord and the unborn are most definitely them. I truly believe the womb of a woman, is the extension of the Hands of God, until He gives His “gift”, to learn of Him, to do His will in this world. Until they return to Him again.

Where I am going here is with so many up in arms willing to move what they can, to kill for the sake of ending Radical Islam killing others, but wouldn’t lift a PEN to outlaw and end the mass murder through abortion in their own nation, that has taken millions more children, than all wars through history, by those not only who share OUR faith, but all faiths….

We become SO enraged at THEM, we can’t see that we are no different from THEM…

We were ALL created in the Image of God. When that “Image” becomes tarnished, we are still the same…tarnished.

Where I AM

trinity_diagram

This is where I am….

We believe in ONE God. There is only ONE. Ours. We believe in ONE God… (Father, Son & Holy Spirit) if we truly BELIEVE in One God, why do we NOT believe that the ONE God is also the God of those who do not BELIEVE as we do? There is NO OTHER God. No matter what any other faith believes. No matter what they practice. Our focus should be on what are WE doing. There is only ONE God. Now! We must understand what Jesus Christ said: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

The difference between God and Abba Father is “Adoption”. It makes NO DIFFERENCE what “Others” believe, because if OUR “Focus” is on Christ at ALL TIMES, we are doing as He asked of us.. When we deviate from that “Focus” we become “worried” about what “Others” are doing and believing. And that ONLY pulls our attention away from OUR Lord. This does not mean to stop from proclaiming the Gospel to the entire world. Not at all. But it does mean that we need to TRUST our Lord when He said: And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

We as “Children” are to do what? LOVE God above ALL things. And love our Neighbor AS yourself! “If you love me, you will keep my commands”. When we are FOCUSED on His “Commands” LOVE is all we can do! EVEN when we face “Death on a Cross”. The KEY is – “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.”

Glory to God.

Praying Is Never Wrong

images (94)

If you have issues with Pope Francis praying with Muslims and Jews and Orthodox, don’t point fingers at him and find fault, look in the mirror and fix what is wrong with yourself. Prayer is NEVER a bad thing. There is only ONE God, ours. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Might I suggest to thoes who find fault to re read this…

Conversion On This Day Of Prayer

I attended Holy Mass this morning with my Carmelite brothers and sisters and heard a very profound story that needed to be shared on this day of prayer and fasting, during the homily.

Father is the Chaplin at a local hospital and a couple of days ago, received a call from a mother seeking a priest. He entered the room of a distraught mother who’s little child, a little girl, was very close to death. You see, this woman is Muslim and her husband is a Non-Practicing Catholic. After a long conversation between the Priest and the Mother, on this day, as we speak, the child close to death, is now being baptized Roman Catholic by this wonderful Priest.

I heard this story and it made me cry for joy. As it is taking place on a day we all seek to bring peace, this mother has through the act of God, brought her daughter to true peace.

Please include this little girl in your prayers today and her entire family.

Prayer For 2013

9970096698354

Lord help me to focus and work on all that is needed for You in 2013. Help me to live as You have intended me to live. Help me to be as You have created me to be. Help me Lord to be there in times of need for those You have placed in the life you have created for me. May I lead all souls back to You O Lord in my words, actions and way of living. May I always seek You first in all things, especially in my sufferings and trials. May I find joy in You and through You my Beloved Lord, and share this joy with the entire world, so that in its times of sadness and bitterness, it may hold on to your sweet compassion with both hands, and eat only what You give to them. May I continue to win the battles over evil in my soul and in my life, with You and all your Saints and Holy Angels at the ready. May all the holy souls in Purgatory be released from their bondage and accept you’re pardon and mercy my Lord. May the children you have given to me, pull ever closer to You this year and stay at Your side. May we all grow in all the gifts of the most Holy Spirit. May the murder of all you’re children through the heinous act of abortion come to an end. May Your One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church and all her members come to know You better and serve only You. May those who have left, return to You. If my death in exile should come this year, I unite it to Your death and give You my Love, all the glory and honor. I hope to spend eternity with You. May I become so lost in You, that all I find, is You, all I see, taste and touch and know, is You. May you have mercy on us all. I ask this through the Immaculate Heart of Mary our Mother, to Your most Sacred Heart O Lord. Amen

Have a blessed and Christ centered New Year.

One That Restraineth

Pondering tonight, something happening today in our own society. Right now, in our time. Our government pushing its Anti Christian policies on all Christian and other faiths in regards to abortion and birth control.

St. John Chrysostom (c. 347-407) Doctor of the Church
Homilies on Second Thessalonians
HOMILY IV. 2 THESSALONIANS ii. 6–9.

“And now ye know that which restraineth, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season. For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work: only there is one that restraineth now, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of His mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of His coming: even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan.”

ONE may naturally enquire, what is that which withholdeth, and after that would know, why Paul expresses it so obscurely. What then is it that withholdeth, that is, hindereth him from being revealed? Some indeed say, the grace of the Spirit, but others the Roman empire, to whom I most of all accede. Wherefore? Because if he meant to say the Spirit, he would not have spoken obscurely, but plainly, that even now the grace of the Spirit, that is the gifts, withhold him. And otherwise he ought now to have come, if he was about to come when the gifts ceased; for they have long since ceased. But because he said this of the Roman empire, he naturally glanced at it, and speaks covertly and darkly. For he did not wish to bring upon himself superfluous enmities, and useless dangers. … And he did not say that it will be quickly, although he is always saying it–but what? “that he may be revealed in his own season,” he says, “For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work.” He speaks here of Nero, as if he were the type of Antichrist. For he too wished to be thought a god. And he has well said, “the mystery”; that is, it worketh not openly, as the other, nor without shame. For if there was found a man before that time, he means, who was not much behind Antichrist in wickedness, what wonder, if there shall now be one? But he did not also wish to point him out plainly: and this not from cowardice, but instructing us not to bring upon ourselves unnecessary enmities, when there is noting to call for it. So indeed he also says here. “Only there is one that restraineth now, until he be taken out of the way,” that is, when the Roman empire is taken out of the way, then he shall come. And naturally. For as long as the fear of this empire lasts, no one will willingly exit himself, but when that is dissolved, he will attack the anarchy, and endeavor to seize upon the government both of man and of God. For as the kingdoms before this were destroyed, for example, that of the Medes by the Babylonians, that of the Babylonians by the Persians, that of the Persians by the Macedonians, that of the Macedonians by the Romans: so will this also be by the Antichrist, and he by Christ, and it will no longer withhold. And these things Daniel delivered to us with great clearness.

“And then,” he says, “shall be revealed the lawless one.” And what after this? The consolation is at hand. “Whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of His mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of His coming, even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan.”
