International Women’s Day 2019

the-madonna-of-the-magnificat-sandro-botticelli

When a man takes hormones, puts on a skirt and heals, and has sex reassignment surgery, he is not a woman. He is a man who has/had surgery, takes hormones and wears women’s clothing. NOTHING about him nor what he has done, will ever make him a woman.

EVER.

When a woman takes hormones, puts on a tie, and has sex reassignment surgery, she is not a man. She is a woman who has/had surgery, takes hormones and wears men’s clothing. NOTHING about her nor what she has done, will ever make her a man.

EVER.

26 l Then God said: Let us make human beings in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the tame animals, all the wild animals, and all the creatures that crawl on the earth.

27 God created mankind in his image;

in the image of God he created them;

male and female he created them.

On this International Woman’s day, I am not afraid to stand up for WOMEN.

I am not afraid to profess the TRUTH that we are created male and female. No matter what we may identify as, no matter how our sins disfigure us. No one can take the two and make them other than what they were created to be. Although some may take the bait of temptation, and go a route they choose, we are not what we choose to create ourselves to be.

This Different Passover Feast

stained-glass-last-supper-loop-footage-000724611_prevstill

I read a beautiful article this morning which added more meaning to the words our Lord spoke at the Last Supper, “Do this in remembrance of me”.

Its an article that speaks about the significance of THAT Passover feast in which our Lord gave all of Himself to us. The shear difference of this last supper, as compared to all the others before. “Why were there no women at the Last Supper?

I have never been a supporter of women priests or deacons, and after having read this article, I am more in support of this position, for not ever having them. You see, when our Lord said:  “do this in memory of me.” He meant it. It meant all of it. There wasn’t any women there. This feast was very different.  And it has remained, very different. It is the very difference our Lord made, with His sacrifice, that changed everything. As it still does today.

Prayers for all our Lords priests today, and always.

Walk For Life Charity Event

Walk For Life!

This weekend, the Parish I belong to and our Pro Life Ministry held our Annual “Baby Shower” Charity Event to collect items for women and children in need. We hold this event every year in hopes of collecting items for women who have decided not to abort their children and donate the items to various Pro Life Pregnancy Centers in the area.

As the event ended yesterday, I volunteered to bring some items to Pregnancy Care Center east of San Diego , in El Cajon California. They are currently trying to build another location to provide pro-life services for women in the southern region of San Diego.

As I arrived with the donated items, they were holding their open house and truly didn’t have a place to put all the donated items. I advised them that I would be more then willing to return today to drop them off.

They normally were not open on Mondays, but in ringing the bell, I was greeted by the Executive Director, Josh McClure who was able to graciously take the donated things. He advised me of their upcoming charity event. One in which he hopes to get as many Groups to walk as Groups to raise funds to build the new facility to take care of the woman who do choose life. The date of this event happens to fall on the date that I had lost my own child to abortion. I could not let this go without sharing this event and I pray they can help as many women as they can, NOT to make the decision I did. If you are in the San Diego area, I please ask you and your entire group to join in this wonderful event to help save a life! It truly is a matter of life and death to our precious children in the womb.

From their site:

Walk For Life:

March 12 @ 8:30 am12:00 pm

Each spring, Pregnancy Care Clinic holds an annual, “stroller to wheelchair” Walk for Life fundraiser. Participants obtain sponsors who pledge a total amount for walker’s participation in the event. This, in turn, helps raise important funds for the ongoing operation of the Clinic. On the day of the event, walkers will gather at Santee Lakes and Walk for Life while praying to end abortion in this country. Those not able to attend can walk on their own wherever they are-so this is truly something everyone can do. Not only is the Walk a fun and fit way to raise money for the Clinic, but it also makes a statement, letting the world know that the Culture of Life is alive and well in San Diego County! Please join us immediately following the Walk for a celebratory picnic. THE HOT DOGS ARE ON US! Call (619)442-4357 or email Robin Brust for more information.

Heavy Lifting

Vatican Pope Egypt

I have been pondering lately about women who hope to be Roman Catholic Priests. First off, let me say, it sickens me to think of a woman as a Roman Catholic Priest. Only a Man can be a Father. Just as only a woman can be a Mother.

Women have so many ways to be a part of the Church that Men can’t be, that i find it sad, some women think they can fill their shoes. Just as it takes a Man and a Woman to bring forth life, it takes pious Men and Women to hold that life of the Church together, in different ways that don’t compete with one another, but naturally balance each other. One making up for where the other is lacking, to bring that life to where it grows and forms natural bonds to the Love of God.

Women were created, as Pope Francis has recently stated: “the most beautiful thing God has made”. And he added: “Theology cannot be done without this feminine touch.”.

I agree. It does not mean that women are weak or less “persons” as it also does not mean that Men are superior. We are equal with different roles. The push of the secular idea of “feminism” has pushed the false notion of the Catholic Church as being some sort of “Women Haters Club”, when the very fact of the matter is, it is anything but that and holds women in a seriously high regard much more so then the secular world could ever understand.

We have come to this place in history where women have been taught far to long, just to be rough & tough. There is nothing wrong with rough & tough, but for some reason, we have lost the “nurturing” role in society and the balance is off. The Feminist Nazi “Amazon Women” have taken over. The “I can do everything without a man, woman” has been born from years of the Culture of Death, pounding in our heads, you don’t need nothing but you. Chanting the death march “Go get um”, trampling everything in our path, standing in OUR way. Including our own gift of children,through Abortion, Birth Control,because “What I Want”, has become much more important than what IS natural and important. Our NATURE as Women, is nurturer. Conquering through love. Not of self, but of others, so in turn, they learn how to love. To say we can do everything is wrong. Society failing today is living proof, we can’t do it all alone. We as women, have failed in the role of Mother and Father. The Catholic Church is not a social experiment. Nor is there room to hold one. It is what it is.

There are just some things women were not designed to “lift”. As “the most beautiful thing created”, we must find comfort in Men, doing the “Heavy” lifting, and carry our crosses, together, in love, for Love.
